About Crone's Excavation & Demolition

Crone's Excavation & Demolition is a family-owned excavation contractor based in Dover, Pennsylvania. Brandon Crone, the owner, grew up working in his family's plumbing company. He was on a job site at fourteen, doing the kind of underground work most people never see. By the time he was old enough to vote he'd already crawled through more crawl spaces than most lifelong plumbers will in a career.

After years of running pipe and tying in services, Brandon bought his own excavator. The first job he dug with it was a house foundation. That was about six years ago. Since then Crone's has grown into a full-service excavation operation handling demolition, site preparation, land clearing, grading, stormwater drainage, septic, and underground utility work across York County, Harrisburg, Dillsburg, Camp Hill, and Hanover.

What makes Crone's different is hard to describe in a marketing pitch. It comes down to the fact that the guy who answers the phone is the same guy in the seat of the excavator, and that he started his career below grade. When we plan a foundation excavation, we're thinking about the plumbing that's going in next. When we install a drainage system, we know how pipe behaves in the ground because we've spent years connecting it.

We work mostly with homeowners, builders, and small commercial property owners across south central Pennsylvania. Family-owned, fully insured, and built on the kind of repeat business that only happens when the work holds up.
